Step inside the dials of Prague’s iconic clocks.

Even Prague’s street and tower clocks – of which there are nearly 600 – followed the design trends of their eras.

At our photo kiosk, you can become part of a clock face, whether baroque or ultra-modern. Use your arms or legs to form clock hands and create your own time.

You’ll have 15 seconds to capture your custom clock.

Then go explore the city to find the real clocks with matching dials. Some are just a few steps away.

Don’t miss the Baroque ceiling in this room – rediscovered by archaeologists during the 2024 renovation.

And from the next exhibit room - DEFINITELY DON’T MISS! - you’ll get a BEST BEAUTIFUL DIRECT VIEW of the astronomical dial of the Old Town Clock. Our (Central European) time is shown by the golden hand on the outer Roman numeral ring. The Clock doesn’t account for daylight saving time – so in summer, it shows one hour less.
