Meet History — and Yourself — on Charles Bridge
The installation in the following space presents time-lapse videos of walking (from a pedestrian’s perspective) at various times of day and evening. The video is composed of multiple layers that create the illusion of a bridge that moves and lives.
You will surely notice mysterious figures that newly appear on the bridge. Most notably, the imposing figure of the Golem, the animated statue of Charles IV, and a new, magnificent animation of Swedish soldiers fighting for our Charles Bridge.
The projection is once again interactive. Just stand on the footprints on the floor behind the first corner, look into the camera, and you will instantly find yourself on the bridge. Take photos and videos!
