Did you know there are around 250 house signs in Prague? Yet none on the building where you’re currently standing. Throughout its history, the building changed both its name and sign multiple times – U Srpů (At the Sickles), U Zlatého vlka (At the Golden Wolf), and U Červené lišky (At the Red Fox). The last name remained, but the fox was eventually replaced by a relief of the Madonna. Why so many changes? And what happened to the fox? That remains one of the house’s mysteries.
